RATINGS
AND REVIEWS
Blown Away is said to be THE
movie any Nicole's fan must have, I agree if you are just interested
in Nicole's beauty, otherwise, it's good but not the best movie she
did.
Blown Away is a good erotic thriller with a great cast and a good
plot... it's a kind of Basic Instinct for teenagers. Nicole plays
very well a femme fatale that would do anything to get what she
really wants, and what she wants is power, money and sex. As a matter
of facts, this movie is quite sensual and very erotic, that's why it
is so famous... To my mind, I like the atmosphere (with the blue
light) and the music present during the most important scenes.
But this movie looks like a sexploitation of the cast made for TV and
video, it is not as good and clever as Basic Instinct that's why it
is not taken really seriously. But it is still good for any Nicole
Eggert's or Corey Haim's fan.
Here are some reviews made by
viewers I found helpful:
What can I say about such a spellbinding film? This
movie is nothing short of spectacular. Corey Haim and Nicole Eggert
give such convincing performances in the leading roles that as a
viewer you find yourself helplessly transfixed. The real treasure of
the film, however, is the performance of Corey Feldman as Haim's
womanizing older brother. Feldman's acting (especially in a scene
where the two meet in a prison) is so powerful that it's chilling.
The plot is so complex and is so full of unexpected twists you stay
glued to the edge of your seat for the entire 90 minutes and then
immediatly want to watch this film again, fearing that you've missed
something. This is the sort of film that comes along once in a
decade, a film that defies genres and breaks down the established
walls of film-making. The fact that "Blown Away" was snubbed by Oscar
voters is a travesty unlike any we have seen in recent years. This
movie is kettle right to it's very core. Every man, woman and child
should see it at least once.

Sometime between
"Charles in Charge" and "Baywatch", syndicated sweetie Nicole Eggert
made this straight-to-video attempt at an erotic thriller. The
filmmakers knew putting Nicole in such a role was a gamble, so they
threw in the Corey's, Haim and Feldman, to give the film legitimacy.
Additionally, Kathleen Robertson, later of " Beverly Hills 90210"
quasi fame, plays a small thankless role.
Haim is an activities director at a ski lodge, who supervises his
"rebel" brother Feldman. One day, he happens upon Ms. Eggert, and
saves her from a horse run amok. She invites him to a party, which he
attends, and the two fornicate the night away. When the morning
comes, he finds out the lavish party was in her house, her father is
a millionaire and the owner of the ski lodge, and she wants her
father dead. He also finds out she's 17 years old, but he's only
troubled by that for a moment. I'm not going to give away the
numerous other twists and turns in the plot, since you'll figure them
out 5 minutes into the film anyway.
I felt embarrassed watching Haim and Eggert's attempts at acting in
this film. The story called for a deep psychological character study,
which these light-weights simply are not up to. I appreciate the idea
of putting Nicole in an exploitation film, but it should have been
one of those beach babe comedy types of movies. Corey Feldman doesn't
come off quite as bad as they do, but he has a little talent.
Nicole Eggert is, of course, naked several times during the course of
the film. However, it is before she had her breasts enhanced (then
removed to have more realistic implants put in). Don't get me wrong;
she looks quite attractive in the film, but she has virtually nothing
up top. Oddly enough, she has never (to my knowledge) appeared naked
since she had the work done, so only her natural breasts are
available for public scrutiny.
Apparently, Corey Haim was quite impressed by the sex scenes, because
he soon proposed marriage to Nicole. She declined, because she was
hung up on former co-star Scott Baio, who was in love with future
Eggert co-star Pamela Anderson, who eventually got married to and
frequently beaten by forgotten rocker Tommy Lee. Isn't love a bitch?

Reviews
I usually don't recommend a film based simply on it's
sex appeal, but this time I have to. I have always found Nicole
Eggert to be extremely attractive and in here she shows off how sexy
she can be. The story itself is fairly simple but it is well done.
Eggert is a beautiful young woman that has too much money. Her mother
is dead and she is trying to convince Haim that her dad should be the
next one to go. Okay, ho hum. But when this film concentrates on sex
and naughtiness and all that wonderful stuff that guys want to see,
it is so much fun to watch. I really don't think this film is aimed
at women so any ladies that are angry that this film is exploitive
and garnered simply to us guys, then I understand your your anger.
But these films don't come out too often anymore so this is one of
those guilty pleasures that I recommend every guy get to see once.
Eggert is hot. And she is hot in this film. If that is excuse enough
for you to see this film, then bravo. If you need more than just
breasts and sex scenes and leather to keep you interested in a movie,
then skip this one. But man, this is a hot movie.

HOW IS
NICOLE IN THE MOVIE?
NICOLE'S LOOK:
Nicole looks quite sensual
in that movie in her role of femme fatale, she's blond, long hair...
futhermore, this film contains the most important Nicole Eggert's
nudity ever in the unrated version, my rating:

NICOLE'S NUMBER OF
APPEARANCES:
Nicole is the main
character of the movie, all the suspense set up around her. Even
though Corey Haim is the hero, there is not a minute without Nicole,

DETAILS
R
RATED/UNRATED: There have been two versions released of this film.
One is the R-rated theatrical version and the other is an unrated
video version. Both of these are available in the United States. The
unrated version is much more explicit than the R-rated version.
In the first sex scene that occurs upstairs at Megan's (Nicole
Eggert) house, Rich (Corey Haim) can be seen giving Megan oral sex
and the scene runs much longer than the R-rated cut.
In the second sex scene between Megan & Rich there are many more
shots in the unrated version than there are in the R-rated cut. One
in particular shows Rich having sex with Megan and her arching her
back.
In a later sex scene between Megan and Rich, which takes place
outside, the unrated version includes more footage and more
thrusting.
NUDITY: This film contains a lot of nudity, mostly from
Nicole but also from the two other male main characters (mostly from
Corey Haim, some from Feldman). There were no body doubles, the stand
in featured in the IMDB were other things. Nicole's breast is natural, it is
before the breast implant that were present at the end of the
Baywatch time and were took off just after. For more informations, go
see The
Celebrity Nudity Database.
When Nicole saw
the movie after the final cut she had a really bad conversation with
the director as she thought her body had been exploited, she asked
him to cut the sex scenes and that may be the reason of the R Rated
and Unrated version. But Nicole was really disappointed as the movie
went out for international realease in its full version.
INTERVIEW: By clicking here, you'll find an extract of an
interview of Corey Feldman (who plays Wes) dealing with Nicole's sex
scenes from POPsmear Magazine
OTHER
STUFF: There
is also one famous face that makes her debut in the movie, we can see
Kathleen Robertson (as credited above) that played
Claire in TV hit Beverly Hills 90210 and who had the leading role in
Splendor from Gregg Araki.
